Summer shrimping in rock pools while learning how to safely navigate tides and currents. Beach fire cook up with our wild shellfish & foraged seaweed as the sun goes down.

Learn how to gather and cook edible seaweeds & succulent plants from the picturesque seashore. Wild food picnic with seaweed cookery in stylish beach hut. Tea on the cliff top.



Sunday 11th  2-6 pm: NEW EVENT: Foraging for Vegans  

£75 per person per day


Plants and seaweeds are ideal vegan food. During 5 hours, we learn how to gather and cook them finishing with a vegan feast in our beach hut and plenty of wild food to take home.



Saturday 24th August  11- 4 pm : Smugglers & Coastal plants

A wilderness location with an adventureous approach. With the sounds of the sea birds above, we will forage, mud flat edibles; coastal leaves & summer flowers. Fill your baskets with nature's bounty and then relax on the beach for a wild food feast with botanical cocktails.


Tuesday 3rd September 10- 2 pm : Shellfish Special

Foraging for delicious wild shellfish followed by a gourmet picnic, botanical cocktails; Bloody Mermaid anyone, & cook up on the beach under stunning Kent skies with magnificent horizons.


Saturday 28th September   11 - 3 pm : Berry Bonanza - Wilderness Picnic

Foraging for Autumn berries and late summer seeds. Still time to enjoy a picnic surrounded by our edible wild plants and listening to the birds singing in an historic Kent seaside wilderness.

An exciting gourmet feast of wild foods is followed by a jaunt to the coast where we identify what we have just eaten, forage shellfish and absorb the history of the coast that once provided so much food for the Romans.  Luncheon location to be confirmed.
