I am investigating the conceptual and physical power of weeds. During lockdown I have been collaborating with Lucia Stuart, a mystic forager based in Kent. Her knowledge does not belong to the official discourse or to written history, and it may go extinct when she disappears. This is the introduction for an ongoing project, a celebration of 'weeds', and by extension of all forms of existence that have been excluded from the official arena, buried, thrown to the fringes or simply unheard".
